ST JAMES, Jamaica — A hairdresser was shot and killed during a daring attack at her business establishment at a popular plaza along Barnett Street, Montego Bay Friday afternoon.
She has been identified as 36-year-old Monique Watson of Rose Heights St James.Reports are that about 2:45 a lone gunman walked into Watson's hairdressing parlour and shot her at point-blank range..
She died on the spot. Detectives assigned to the St James police division are investigating. Read more:
