TWENTY-ONE persons were left homeless as fire of unknown origin gutted an eight-bedroom house along Chancery Lane in downtown Kingston last night.
Reports are that at about 6:30 pm residents saw smoke coming from a building and called firefighters.

Fire victims mulling around as to their next move
"No one was injured in the blaze but eight adults and 13 children were left homeless," one firefighter on the scene told the Jamaica Observer.
Sharon Andrews, a mother of six, said she lost everything in the fire.
"I am not sure what started the fire but all I know is I lost everything in the blaze," the despondent woman said
Five units from York Park, and Rollington Town responded to the blaze.
Last night as the firefighters spent hours trying to put out the blaze, it threatened to spread to several businesses located along Orange Street. more
