KINGSTON, Jamaica — 42,000 students will be sitting the examination Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) in two weeks and according to the Ministry of Education preparations are at an advanced stage of readiness for this year’s sitting.
The examination will be held on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21 in all primary schools and most preparatory schools across the island.
The Grade Six Achievement Test is the country’s national high school entrance examination. Students undertake five subjects including English, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics and Communication Task for entry into High Schools of their choice at Grade 7. more
