Magic Johnson's wife Cookie spoke at length about her son E.J.'s public coming outin an appearance on HuffPost Live this week.
"We had already dealt with it years ago, so for us it wasn't a big deal," Cookie said, adding that EJ had "never tried to hide" his sexuality, even when he was much younger, and therefore his revelation didn't come as a big surprise: "A mother kinda knows these things."
The wife of the basketball legend went on to offer a few tips for parents who have lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) children of their own. read more
