Olympic 200m bronze medallist Warren Weir decimated the field to take the men's 200m in a new personal best 19.79 in a thrilling end to the four-day National Senior Trials at the National Stadiumin Kingston this evening.
Weir, in a clear battle with Nickel Ashmeade came off the curve in contention and powered into the lead, knocking his chest as he crossed the finish line.
Ashmeade was second in 20.06 and Jason Livermore third in a personal best 20.13.
