A Chicago judge lashed out at city law enforcement on Wednesday for giving a single car more than $105,761 in parking tickets.
'I don’t even know where the room for all the tickets were. Where’d you put them all?' Judge Thomas Allen asked.
The fines were accrued through 678 parking tickets over three years on a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo that was abandoned in an employee parking lot at O'Hare airport.
Allen questioned law enforcement's 'ridiculous, robotic march to write tickets on a $600 junk car' during a hearing on a lawsuit to dismiss the tickets, according to the Chicago Tribune. READ More...
