KINGSTON, Jamaica — The battle among People’s National Party members for leadership in several constituencies took a backseat Wednesday to the torching of Raymond Pryce’s St
Elizabeth North Eastern constituency office.
Meanwhile, crime has taken a turn for the worst with the murder toll nearing 1,000 and lottery scamming being blamed for the bulk of murders committed in western parishes.
In sport, Jamaica suffered 3-0 defeat in their friendly international with South Korea at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Tuesday.
