BLACKSTONE, Massachusetts (AP) —
Police have arrested and charged a woman in connection with the living conditions at the Massachusetts home where the bodies of three infants were found.
Prosecutors say 31-year-old Erika Murray will be arraigned Friday on charges including intimidation of a witness on Friday.
Blackstone Police Department spokesman John Guilfoil said woman is a resident of the home and is now in police custody. Guilfoil said Thursday that the woman is not being charged in the deaths of the children. No criminal charges have been filed in connection with the deaths.
It was not immediately known if Murray has an attorney.
Guilfoil said investigators remain on the scene.
Authorities say the home where the infants' remains were found was in deplorable conditions with vermin and piles of dirty diapers.
