Early Wednesday morning, Jamaica was subjected to the latest episode in what is now a long-running series on evil that has badly scarred this country.
Wicked, heartless scum invaded the home of a 34-year-old woman, Ms Rosemarie Wilson, and her common-law husband Mr Junior Pinniler, a 44-year-old farmer, in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, and shot them dead in front of their children. To say we are appalled is an understatement. But what worries us more is the fact that this kind of atrocity is not new to Jamaica.
We have, in the past, seen too many similar acts that have left families to grieve, made orphans of children, and created fear in entire communities. Sadly, far too many of us have become inured to such atrocities and regard them as just another case of madness, especially when we are not affected by the insanity.
It is obvious that there are some persons in this country who place no value on human life and who believe that theirs is the authority to deny others of that most basic human right. more
Scary..So sad.....How do you balance good and evil....When scumbags are dealt their fates my the Police, same people protest that it is unfair and the cops are murderers. This cannot get any worse....Something has to be done to divide the good from the bad and then.....Do whatever it takes to make the good prevail.
