crime scene logoA gunman shot his six-month old niece and a teenage boy yesterday during a heated argument with other thugs at Pink Lane in downtown Kingston. Up to press time last night, the 16-year-old boy and the infant were still being treated in hospital.
According to the Kingston West Police, about 11:00 am, men in the area were having an argument that escalated into violence. “Reports we received are that, during the argument, one man went away and returned with a gun.
Minutes later, gunshots were heard in the area,” said Superintendent Steve McGregor. “Since the incident, the police have launched a search for persons involved,” McGregor told the Jamaica Observer, adding that the police will be keeping a close watch on the area to ensure that the incident does not escalate. Read more:
