The 54-year-old construction worker, who lives in Wakefield, a rustic community in St Catherine, is single-handedly building his seven-bedroom dream house. And, as if constructing a house that size with no help is not enough, Wright — who is originally from Kingston — claims that the design is like no other in the island. "The house is being built and designed on a concept of circles," Wright told the Jamaica Observer last week.
"Most of the houses you see around are built with square walls, but in this house every room, every column is built in a circular form," said Wright, who is a Rastafarian. Wright said he decided to construct the house — which is now 75 per cent complete — in the unique fashion as he wanted to set himself apart from other players in the construction sector. Read more:
