In the Walker Cup Football Finals, Excelsior High was beaten 4-2 on penalties by Wolmer's Boys a few minutes ago. Penalty kicks became necessary after both teams were locked on 1-1 after full and extra time.
Congratulations to Wolmers, worthy champions. Hearty congrats to the Excelsior team who represented the school well all season; making the Manning Cup semi-finals and the Walker Cup final. Congrats also to Coach Halliman and staff for a wonderful season.
Coach Leebert Halliman, an Excelsior Alumnus will be our special honouree at this years Wesley Powell Invitational T&F Meet. He will be honored for his continuous contribution to the development of the school.....
