Reggae legend Beres Hammond on Tuesday released a new club version of his 2008 hit, I Surrender, which features a toasting performance by British reggae icon Gappy Ranks.
Hammond's new single titled Surrender was produced by Kemar 'Flava' McGregor in connection with a series of newly mixed club renditions of McGregor's pop-reggae singles, recorded by the likes of Sinead O'Connor, Maxi Priest, and Cas Haley.
The new version is ranked as Hammond's 14th-highest downloads, on iTunes.
Born in Annotto Bay, Jamaica, Beres Hammond is considered the most beloved romantic reggae singer in the history of the music industry. Hammond has placed seven albums on the Billboard Top Ten Reggae Albums chart since 1994. read more....
