Peace and Love Academic Scholarship, Inc. (PALAS) awarding sixty (60) new scholarships to students in Jamaica for the 2013-2014 school year. Hon. Damion Crawford, Minister of Tourism and Entertainment and Washington D.C Attorney Patrick Campbell will deliver speaking addresses...... A total of 115 scholarships over the past 2 years.

An award ceremony for 60 new PALAS recipients will be held at the University of the West Indies-Mona Campus, Inter-Faculty Lecture Theatre (IFLT) on Saturday, August 24, 2013 commencing at 5pm JA time. 
Guest speakers are Hon. Damion Crawford, Junior Minister of Tourism and Entertainment, and Washington D.C Attorney Patrick Campbell will deliver the other speaking honors. Entertainment will be provided by reggae singer, Winsome Benjamin.
