Daughter of the late reggae king and newly appointed ambassador of Jamaica's women's football programme, Cedella Marley, said that giving back is a core element of House of Marley's mission.
"The House of Marley is a living brand. It's about equality, freedom and charity. It's about giving back and doing the right thing. Joining this campaign for our Jamaica Reggae Girlz shows they also have integrity and I thank them for the support," said the CEO of the Marley Group of Companies.
The Reggae Girlz are preparing to participate in the inaugural Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Women's Caribbean Cup, which will begin with first-round qualifications in May and June. Jamaica will compete in a series of matches June 18 to 22 in the Dominican Republic.
The CFU tournament will serve as the official qualification for the Caribbean Zone for both the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup and the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. more
