KINGSTON, Jamaica - Dancehall entertainer Vybz Kartel is set to stand trial in connection with the murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams in the Home Circuit Court today.
Kartel and fellow entertainer Shawn Campbell (Shawn Storm) are to be tried along with other men for the 2011 murder of Williams in Havendale, St Andrew. Williams' body has not been found.In July, he and two co-accused were freed of another murder charge relating to the shooting death of Portmore resident Barrington 'Bossie' Bryan. Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, has been in police custody since October 2011. Read more:
