JEALOUSY: Carl Lewis Hits Back At Bolt For Criticising Gay, Says The Jamaican Should Focus On His Own Country....Bolt said he has lost all respect for Lewis.

Former American athlete, Carl Lewis, has hit back at world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, suggesting the sprinter should focus on the doping issues that have plagued his own country before looking elsewhere.

Bolt... said he has lost all respect for Lewis.

Bolt was highly critical of American sprint superstar, Tyson Gay, who was given a one-year ban after testing positive for a banned substance, announced in May of last year.

Gay received a ban back-dated to 2013, after providing information for the doping authorities. Responding to the issue last month, Bolt called the decision to give the American sprinter a slap on the wrist "stupid" and expressed his disappointment with the case.

Lewis, however, suggested that the sprinter should be silent having not commented on several cases that plagued Jamaica, in recent years. Lewis says Bolt has raised a legitimate issue and he understands that, but rules are rules.

According to Lewis, many doping issues have emerged in Jamaican athletics in the past four to five years and Bolt should think of cleaning up his own house. A verbal battle between Lewis and Bolt has become familiar on the track and field landscape, with the American challenging Jamaica testing procedures a few years ago. Bolt has also claimed to have lost all respect for Lewis. more
