Two days after announcing he was taking a "leave of presence" because of a cancer recurrence, iconic film critic Roger Ebert has died at age 70, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

The Chicago Tribune reported that Ebert, who was hospitalized last December after he broke his hip, wrote online on Tuesday that "the 'painful fracture' that made it difficult for me to walk has recently been revealed to be a cancer. 55 DIED in collapsed building...India Building Collapses: Rescue Workers Search Through Rubble To Find Survivors (PHOTOS)

MUMBAI, India — A building collapsed as it was being constructed illegally in a Mumbai, India, suburb, killing at least 27 people, police said Friday.

The collapse injured 54 others and rescuers are searching for more casualties in the debris, Police Inspector Digamber Jangale said.

The building in the Mumbai suburb of Thane did not have clearances from local authorities to be built, he said. The first four floors had offices, but most occupants had left for the day at the time of the collapse. READ More...

TULSA, Okla. — Health officials are urging 7,000 patients of an Oklahoma dentist to seek medical tests to ensure they haven't been exposed to hepatitis or the virus that causes AIDS.
